ABOUT THE FORUM

What is FINOPOLIS 2018?

The annual FINOPOLIS Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies is hosted by the Bank of Russia in partnership with industry leaders in the fields of IT and finance.

The aim of the Forum is to facilitate a broad-ranging review of contemporary FinTech trends, present the latest domestic and international technology products and infrastructure solutions, and enable a discussion by market participants of initiatives and projects to develop the digital economy in the financial sector.

Each year the Forum brings together around 1,500 participants from Russian and international companies, along with industry experts and government officials.


When and where will FINOPOLIS 2018 take place?

In 2018, the Forum will take place from 17 to 19 October in the Olympic Park Main Media Centre.

FORUM PROGRAMME

What events make up the Forum’s business programme?

The Forum’s business programme includes panel sessions, roundtable discussions, and presentations in the exhibition area. The FinTech Startup Contest will be a separate part of the programme. In 2018, the main business programme events will be held on 18–19 October. FinTech Youth Day, aimed at young people and students at Russian universities, is scheduled for 17 October 2018.

What is the FinTech Startup Contest?

The FinTech Startup Contest takes place every year at FINOPOLIS. Teams offering innovative solutions in the field of financial technologies and developing electronic interaction in the financial market are invited to participate. PARTICIPATING IN THE FORUM

How can I take part in the Forum?

In order to take part in the Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies FINOPOLIS 2018, you will need to complete a registration form.

Participation requests will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee and, if approved, an invitation will be sent to the applicant. We ask participants who receive invitations to confirm or decline their participation in their personal web office on the Forum website.


Can an application for participation be denied?

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse an invitation to an applicant without explanation.


What participation formats are available?

FINOPOLIS 2018 participants are offered two participation formats: Premium Package and Standard Package. Descriptions of the participation packages are available in the Participants section of the website.


How much does it cost to participate in FINOPOLIS 2018?

Information on participation fees is available in the Participants section of the website. The cost of participation depends on the participation format. Participation fees do not include the cost of hotel accommodation or travel to and from Sochi.

Please note: Participation fees will increase after 10 August 2018.


How do I decline to participate in the Forum?

If you have received an invitation but do not plan to attend the Forum, please decline participation in your personal web office. The login and password for your personal web office were included in the letter that accompanied your invitation to the Forum.


How do I withdraw from the Forum after confirming that I will attend?

If you change your mind about participating in the Forum after confirming your attendance, please notify the organizers by contacting your personal manager or the FINOPOLIS 2018 information centre.


If, for personal reasons, a participant cannot attend the Forum, can a colleague from the same organization take his or her place?

Participants can only be replaced with the approval of the Forum’s Organizing Committee. In the event that a participant cannot attend the Forum for any reason, please contact the personal manager.


PARTICIPATION FEE PAYMENT

How do I pay the Forum participation fee?

Each Forum participant concludes an agreement, confirming and guaranteeing their participation in the event. In order to create an agreement and select a payment method for the participation fee, please visit the Payment section of your personal web office. There are two payment methods:

  1. Payment by invoice

  2. Payment by bank card

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN FINOPOLIS 2018 AS A PARTNER

How can my organization become a FINOPOLIS 2018 partner?

Participating in the Forum as a partner will enable your company to gain a number of advantages.

PERSONAL WEB OFFICE

What is the personal web office?

The personal web office is your personal section on the official Forum website where you can edit your personal details, upload a photograph, file applications for services required, draft an agreement, or pay participation fees.

In order to access your personal web office, you will need to enter your personal login and password, which were provided in the letter you received along with your invitation to the Forum.


How is the confidentiality of data entered into the personal web office protected?

The Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies 2018 strictly adheres to legal requirements for the protection of every participant’s personal data.

The personal web office has been developed using SSL data encryption to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal information.


How can I make changes to personal information in the personal web office?

Once you have submitted your personal information using the registration form or the personal web office, you can make changes to it by contacting your personal manager. Your personal manager’s contact details are indicated in your personal web office.

Are there any requirements for the photograph in the personal web office?

Photograph requirements:

  • Colour photograph on a white background, in JPEG format

  • 480x640 pixels in size

  • Resolution (image quality) of 300 dpi

  • Frontal view of your entire face, with your head uncovered

  • Face makes up at least 70% of the photograph


ACCREDITATION

What is the accreditation procedure?

Accreditation includes participant registration, approval by the Forum Organizing Committee, and issue of an accreditation badge.


What is a participant accreditation badge?

To access the Forum venue and cultural programme event locations, all participants must have an accreditation badge.

Accreditation badges are issued to specific individuals and are not transferable. Participants should keep their badges and ID with them at all times during the Forum. A badge is the only document confirming the accreditation as a Forum participant.
