8 October 2019

Participants have the opportunity to register on the UnifiedBiometric System and gain FastTrackentry to FINOPOLIS 2019 in Sochi.

On 7 October two biometric registration points were opened by Forum partners Promsvyazbank and Tinkoff Bank. These are located at the Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Centre and Omega Sirius Park.

Accredited Forum participants who have a Unified Biometric Systemprofile or submitted a palm vein scan at last year’s FINOPOLIS will be able to collect their badge at a self-accreditation stand and gain FastTrack entry to the Forum.

“We will now be collecting biometric data at FINOPOLIS for the second consecutive year. We are the only bank in Russia that sends representatives to collect biometric data for the UnifiedBiometric System directly from customers, and at a convenient time and location. We have therefore decided to open biometric collection points for the convenience of Forum participants at the hotels where they will be staying during FINOPOLIS,” said Artem Kharchenko, Head of the Fraud Prevention Department at Tinkoff Bank.

“The development of remote services and digital service channels is a key priority for Promsvyazbank. We are participating in FINOPOLIS as a partner for the first time, and invite Forum participants to take the opportunity to register with the Universal Biometric System and try out the FastTrack service. It is a great example of the kinds of things banks can to do make everyday life simpler and more convenient,” said Director of the Digital Business Directorate at Promsvyazbank Yury Chernyshev.

Turnstiles at the Forum venue will also be equipped with biometric readers. You can use your biometric data to enter the welcome reception and gala reception, enjoy a coffee, and much more.

Registration in the UnifiedBiometric Systemis also offered at 172 banks across Russia: cbr.ru/fintech/remote_authentication/map/.
