At the Finopolis 2016 Forum, the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan signed a road map that outlines Mir National Payment System promotion in Tatarstan. Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova and Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov took part in the grand signing ceremony.

The road map provides for the assurance of emission and acquiring of the Mir card in Tatarstan and the development of social and transport applications on its base.

Cooperation of National System of Payment Cards and the Republic of Tatarstan on creation of new products and services using the Mir card is conducted in accordance with the memorandum between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Bank of Russia.
