One of the key objectives of the Finopolis 2016 Forum is the support of the development and implementation of advanced financial technologies in Russia. It is impossible to achieve it without the training of advanced specialists, including leading IT experts, competent financiers, and qualified investors. That is why the Organizing Committee invited Russian Higher Education Institutions, which have already been actively working in the fintech sphere, to participate in the Forum on a non-profit basis. The following institutions were invited: Bauman Moscow State Technical University, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Innopolis University Autonomous Noncommercial Organization of Higher Education, Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics University, Saint Petersburg State University. Deans, faculties and researchers from the relevant departments will become the participants of the Forum.
Some of the institutions have already launched projects for the research, development and integration of new financial technologies into the market. Technical universities develop the technological base and IT platforms, while financial universities teach how to create products that meet the needs of modern customers.
The Organizing Committee of the Forum hopes that invitation of the representatives from universities to participate in Finopolis 2016 Forum together with the representatives of the market, will contribute to the comprehensive development of a fintech ecosystem and swift implementation of the most advanced technologies in the Russian financial market.
