The events of the FINOPOLIS 2018 Fintech Youth Day are underway. 

On 16 October, the first day of the youth programme, participants were able to compete against each other to find solutions to real market cases provided by FINOPOLIS partners. Student teams from nine Russian cities, chosen for their performance in the remote case championship, took part in the contest. The teams arrived in Sochi from Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, Vladimir, Perm, Saratov, Ufa, Kazan, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. On the evening of 16 October, the FinTech Battle began and students presented their cases. The winners were announced the same day.

On 17 October, Youth Day Participants will attend lectures and masterclasses by FINOPOLIS Partners and speak with successful Fintech startups and executives from Russia’s leading banks and IT companies. The masterclasses will cover creating digital products, design principles for innovative products, the development and implementation of business ideas, and strategies for building one’s career in the digital economy. Fintech Youth Day Title Partners will also hold lectures. Moreover, Vasant Dhar, Professor at the Stern School of Business and the Center for Data Science at New York University will hold an open lecture titled ‘FinTech: Platforms and Strategies, Challenges and Opportunities’.
