The
final qualifying stage has concluded for FINOdays, the youth programme of the
FINOPOLIS Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies. All the candidates
demonstrated an excellent level of preparation!
Based
on the testing results, 84 participants from different cities of Russia, the
CIS, and beyond will take part in FINOdays. The semi-finalists include students
from such universities as: Novosibirsk State University, St. Petersburg State
University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO University),
Bauman Moscow State Technical University, the Higher School of Economics, the
Financial University, and others. This year’s participants also include
students from the Technical University of Munich, Harbour, Space University
(Barcelona), and Nazarbayev University (Nur-Sultan).
The
main event of FINOdays – the Hackathon – will feature 17 teams that were formed
from selected participants. The team members will solve cases prepared by
leading financial market players and compete for a prize pool of RUB 1 million,
which the finalists will share.
In
addition to the 24-hour Hackathon, the FINOdays Youth Programme participants
will have a very eventful week: they will take part in the FINOPOLIS 2019
business programme, meet with potential employers, and attend workshops, master
classes, and sporting events.
