This year, the business programme of the FINOPOLIS Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies will consist of six plenary discussions and more than 20 thematic sessions and roundtables.

The Forum will open with Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina leading the plenary discussion “Artificial intelligence: a pathway to the common good or a road to serfdom?” Speakers will discuss the development of artificial intelligence in Russia and global AI trends, transformation of business models, and the interaction between the financial and non-financial sectors in this industry.

The participants of another plenary discussion “Digital platforms and services: what’s next?”, which will be held on the same day, will talk about open APIs and E2E identifiers, as well as the interaction between digital and payment platforms. First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova will serve as the discussion’s moderator.

Other topics of plenary discussions include “The digital ruble and tokenization”, “Digitalization and competition: impact on the financial market”, “Digital assets: will there be a breakthrough?”, and “Education. New competencies. What needs to be done?”
